Patricia Scarborough

Fine Artist

Nebraska artist Patricia Scarborough takes familiar imagery and highlights the beauty and intensity of the moment.  Her sensitive and exciting use of color and energetic strokes of pigment creates an image of peacefulness and vibrancy.

 

Patricia Scarborough received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Kearney State College, Kearney Nebraska.  She has studied with nationally respected artists Larry Blovits, Doug Dawson, Donna Aldridge, John Roush , Dustin Van Wechel and Kim Casebeer.

 

Scarborough's work can be seen in collections across the United States and Great Britain.  She has been included in many juried shows, including:

She has been featured artist at the Nebraska Governor's Mansion courtesy of the Nebraska Arts Council, 2004, 1998. 

Her painting, "Photo Op", is in the collection of the Museum of Nebraska Art in Kearney, Nebraska.

Memberships include the Association of Nebraska Art Clubs, for which she served as president in 2001;
