or Patricia when she's acting grownup or late for curfew, works out of her home studio. Most days are spent staring out the window, wondering about shapes, shadows, colors and atmosphere, and how those enigmatic elements weave themselves into what we believe we see.
After a stint at Kearney State College, where she eventually graduated with a degree in Fine Art, she spent the next few decades figuring out how to paint. The results:

She also teaches adult art classes, and spent several years providing an art experience to elementary school students.
She is a member of the American Women Artists, the American Plains Artists, and past president of The Association of Nebraska Art Clubs.
